Alpha's town council crumbles

What will happen to Alpha now that Lou Cartabona has managed to lie his way into a council seat? And to make matters worse, known curb thief Mike Savary was re-elected against all hope to rid our council of his crooked ass.

Councilman Harry Zikas Jr. will be the only sane and intelligent mind left on council. The idiots out number the real leader on board. Alpha deserves a bright future protected by caring councilmen, not psycho nutcases.

At least Chris Pfefferle's attempts to stay on council after having moved from Alpha were discovered and he was forced to announce the truth and leave council.

We are about to discover just how dangerous Craig Dunwell and his council buddies are. Soon their mistakes will be made public.

Meanwhile, I pray for Alpha. I ask that you do the same.

Reading this I realized that even Craig's friend David Foster couldn't write an article that would make Craig look good and our Mayor Ed Hanics look bad.  Why would anybody vote for Dunwell.  He lacks experience.  He, unlike his campaign signs say, is not "professional leadership". 

Nowhere in this article does Dunwell say what he's is going to do differently to improve Alpha.  Mayor Hanics on the other hand has dedicated countless hours of his time to serving Alpha with distinction.  Craig along with his cronies running for council, Brian Wistuk and Lou Cartabona do not have the town's best interests at heart.  Craig is trying to tip the balance of power in his favor. 

Lou Cartabona is a Tea Party fanatic and from what I've seen at council meetings a big waste of time.  These people seem bent on wanting to harass and cause trouble for the citizens of Alpha.  Instead of focusing on the towns real problems they want to discuss tall grass, vacant properties and properties that they think aren't up to their standards.  So watch out Alpha. 

If these idiots get in be prepared to have people showing up at your house to tell you you need to cut your grass and clean up your property.  All the problems the town has had of late and in part or whole the results of Craig Dunwell and his cronies Chris Pfefferle and Mike Savary.  These boneheads fired our long time town auditor.  This has caused many problems and may be the reason the insurance lapsed and the girl who was injured at the softball field couldn't get her bills paid. 

Also rumor has it that if Craig is elected mayor he would appoint his people into important positions in our town.  He would fire town officials who that have kept Alpha running smoothly for years.  Craig made a poor choice in appointing a new company to act as our town auditor so you know he would continue to make poor choices. Alpha can't afford this. 

Who wants an unemployed blowhard as our next mayor for the next four years?  Not me. Lets keep this bonehead out of the mayor's office and get him off town council when he comes up for re-election.  Lets keep Alpha safe and a happy place.

What happened to the signs???

Last week I noticed somebody had put signs up around town campaigning for Ed Hanics and signs that spoke out again Craig Dunwell, Ed's opponent.  Today I noticed that the signs where all gone.  What happened to them? 

I called a friend of mine and was told that Craig Dunwell was furious about the signs and complained to anybody who would listen about taking them down.  He was heard citing ordinances about posting political signage on utility poles.  What is he so scared of?  Is it that he doesn't have any issues in which to campaign for?  Alpha, the asphalt plant is not coming to Alpha. 

The mayor and council have given the go ahead to replace the water filtering system.  Taxes are low, the school is fine and things in town are business as usual.  What is Craig going to say about the Mayor?  That our taxes are spiraling out of control and the town is falling apart?  We have a responsible mayor who makes sure things get done. 

This is local politics in a town where everybody knows everybody.  The biggest issues are when do the pot holes get fixed and how much salt are we going to need this winter. 

Come on Dunwell, lets hear what you are going to do for Alpha that Ed can't?  This town doesn't need a cry baby, it needs a person who cares and gets things done.

Craig's Family To The Rescue!!!!

After running into a friend at Quick Chek, I learned that Craig Dunwell's family runs to his rescue.  I heard that his mom or others in the Dunwell family have shut down web sites about the mayoral election this fall. 

I've done a quick search and found various websites that don't load. 

Is Craig Dunwell, his family or some of his cronies taking down websites about him?

Alpha Politics: Craig S. Dunwell and his cronies.

I've lived in Alpha NJ for many years.  I stopped paying attention to local politics years ago.  I vote and read the paper but never really saw any reason to research candidates for local office. 

 

Things always seem to run smoothly when Harry Zikas was mayor.  Ed Hanics, our current town mayor seems to be doing an outstanding job.  Lately in the papers and online I've been seeing political in-fighting.  A Craig S. Dunwell has been making accusations about Alex Zikas missing council meetings.  Craig Dunwell has made a statement about the mayor raising taxes a half cent per $100.00. 

 

Really, Mr. Dunwell?  This is New Jersey.  My neighbors and friends were shocked you would make a big deal out of this.  As I read the article I found that the infinitesimal increase in tax was so two town employees could keep their jobs.  Really?  In this economy you want to put two valuable people which the town needs out of a job?  Wow!  There is hardly a soul at the town hall as it is.  Why don't you fight to make Mike Savary pay for the curbs in front of his home.  Then I find out the Craig Dunwell is under investigation for violating the public open meetings act. 

 

Oh, and don't forget the towns water issue.  After talking to the water department I found out that the water issue is really a non-issue. The EPA tests the raw water out of the wells.  The water we drink has been filtered and is safe.  Nice fear mongering Dunwell.  It seems that Chris Pfefferle, Michael Savary & Craig S. Dunwell are turning our town's government in to a little club to further their political agendas.  Now it seems that the Dunwell crew has two more of its cronies up for the November election.  Brian and Lou shamelessly campaigned at our towns 100th anniversary parade.  People in this town think that was very disrespectful!  I've been seeing Anti-Dunwell signs throughout the town. 

 

I guess I'm not the only one who doesn't want Craig Dunwell as mayor.  Alpha wants a responsible, reliable mayor.  I witnessed Craig Dunwell verbally abuse a child at the Town's 100th.  An event I'm sure Craig helped organize. All over an order of onion rings being $2.50.  Just go to Burger King if that's too much. I was talking to a friend and she told me that Craig Dunwell went crazy at the town hall over having to pay 25 cents for a copy. 

 

Has Craig Dunwell ever requested records from a doctor or lawyer? It's more that 25 cents!  After seeing my neighbors campaigning against Dunwell and his cronies I'll be campaigning this summer and fall too.
